Manchester United could make a renewed approach to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to Calciomercato.
The Frenchman was on the Red Devils’ radar in the summer of 2022, but a deal did not materialise due to differences in personal terms.
They were interested in signing him again last summer, but Rabiot was convinced by the Bianconeri to pen a one-year extension.
The midfielder will enter the final six months of his deal in January and it is claimed that the Red Devils could explore a free transfer move.
Rabiot spoke with manager Erik ten Hag last year. He was convinced by the project but United refused to meet his £165k per week demands.
He has since transformed his fortunes at Juventus. Rabiot has 20 goal contributions during the last 14 months from central midfield.
His experienced and creativity from the number eight role could be useful for the Red Devils. We won’t be surprised if he ends up joining the club.
